One of my Favorite books; The Royals by Kitty Kelly contains the life of the Royal family especially Queen Elizabeth II. One of the chapters told a joke about the Queens visitor, a commonwealth diplomat:

when the diplomat sat with the Queen on the carriage, the horse farted. the Queen says to the diplomat, I'm sorry about that,"not a good start for your visit" and then the diplomat replied, Oh no it's alright Madam, and besides "I like to think it's the horse that broke wind"
