Many of us are crazy over chocolates but many of us avoid them because it causes weight gain. What you do not know is that chocolates are healthy once taken in moderation. You just have to choose a dark ones because it has less sugar, milk, and sodium. Chocolates are rich in flavonoids that acts as antioxidants that protect the body from aging caused by free radicals. These free radicals cause damage to our cells that may lead to heart disease. Dark chocolates (not milk chocolates) contains more antioxidants than strawberries so it isn't something dieters should avoid. Flavonoids help relax blood pressure and it also balances certain hormones in our body. So there is no reason for you to totally keep away from it. There are only 27 calories in a 0.048 large bar of Sweet or Dark Chocolate. Calorie breakdown: 55% fat, 42% carbs, 3% protein. Isn't it a relief that we can enjoy it without causing damage to our waist? Very Happy
